10/20/11

worked on the space ship path animation.......it crashed.....couldn't open the file I had before.When I attempted to restart the project I forgot where the move tool was in the graph editor.

I used the standard setup didn't alter the lighting this time.Rendered in HD with the two best shaders.changed the amount of coils and the height and width of them.I didn't change much because whenever I tried it had much worse results then when I left the, colors, the lighting,the environment, and all, alone.

realstudio -2 fin coils

For the most part I used the standard setting of the mia material with few tweaks. (not including the water shader which I had issues with).I changed the color of the area light at the left to a bright goldish color and made the one on the right a more dulled but still goldish color.for the first few there are different resolutions because the first two were at school,the one after I wanted in 640x480 because HD took up to 15 minutes with the more complex  mia shaders,but 640x480 despite taking the quality of the model down drastically from HD hardly shortened the render time,so I switched and used 360x240 which took seconds to render even the more complex shaders.

Poke practice with torus

I started with a torus selected the edges and faces towards the top and middle and used edit mesh poke.I forgot what I did with the bottom part of the Torus to make it look like a vase thingy.Then I deleted half a sphere and made a half sphere to fill in the middle of the torus.Created cylinder and deleted all but the faces at the very top,used as table top.created 4 cylinders and beveled the top faces,to be used as table legs

Extrude Along a Path - finished





Whats depressing is this is my 6th time re-doing this because of technical difficulties and this is also the only time that I forgot to intertwine it....... **** it I'm not re-doing this again.I had 1 area light 1 directional light and 1 spotlight as well as a plane under it with the ocean shader which I forgot to animate......lets pretend its a very still night.
