I used Ndynamics to create a terrain type of mesh that mimics the appearance of lava flowing off of a hill.

3 point lighting

the cloth with the section at the beginning cut out.key light.Used phong with "volume noise" bump map for letters.Used ocean shader on cloth with increased wave height and turbulence and altered scale.
